Our July meeting is also in Northside, but at a slightly different location. The usual spot was unavailable so we will be meeting about one block south on Hamilton Avenue at the Hoffner Lodge. We will be meeting on the second floor. We can still park in the bank lot, at the old funeral home or on the street in front of the Hoffner Lodge. The building itself is a big old Masonic Lodge-hard to miss. The entrance to the upper floors is next to the US Post Office opperating out of the first floor. We will not have access to a grill, but will have access to the full kitchen that comes with the hall. Bob Masters will be presenting a program on keg use and care. Happy 4Th of July lets Parade |

This Saturday, the Cincinnati Malt Infusers once again have a parade entry in Cincinnati's big 4th of July parade, which happens in Northside. We will be staging in the huge parking lot at the corner of Hamilton and Ashland Avenue. The parade will go down Hamilton Avenue (judging occurring in front of the Comet) all the way down into the heart of Northside to Hoffner Park where it ends. The parade begins at noon sharp. We will be staging-tailgating beginning around 10:00 AM. Our entry is simple-banners, the CMI goat, and some patriotic decor. Everyone particapating should wear some time of CMI t-shirt or apparrel. After the parade, stick around and check out the Northside 3rd and 4th of July Festival and Rock n' Roll Carnival! Music,-beer and festivites, also happening in Hoffner Park. CMI will have a booth there, but it will be largely unmanned. We will have a banner, be giving out club information, promoting the club. It will be located right next to the beer both (how convenient). If you are interested in staffing it, email me back and let me know. There is no charge to get into the Rock n' Roll Carnival or Festival, just the expense of buying bee |
