The Cincinnati Malt Infusers are an organization dedicated to the art and science of brewing beer at home and are sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA). The purposes of the Cincinnati Malt Infusers are as follows:
• To encourage the art and science of brewing and zymurgy for amateurs interested in pursuing this time-honored vocation.
• To provide a medium for parties interested in brewing to socialize and share ideas in club sponsored formal and informal gatherings and club sponsored publications.
• To provide membership with purchasing power not normally afforded to individual homebrewers.
• To encourage local, regional, and national homebrewing associations through participation in competition at all levels. This may sound imposing, but we encourage all experience levels to check us out.
Beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend. The best way to learn how to brew is to talk about it! Meetings are held the second Thursday of every month. We alternate between meeting on the “Eastside” and “Westside” of the Cincinnati area to make to convenient for everyone. Check the calendar for more information.
Membership
Our membership welcomes anyone from novices with no brewing experience to the seasoned brewer. All that is required is a passion for great beer and a interest in homebrewing. Our meetings and brew tour stops are always open to visitors. You may join in person at a Cincinnati Malt Infusers monthly meeting, by attending a scheduled brew tour stop, or by downloading & completing our membership form. Membership dues are $15.00 a person/$20.00 a couple, payable by check or money order to “Cincinnati Malt Infusers”. Mail the completed form with payment to:
